  • You purchase a floating network license for the software.

You must follow the gaussian access procedure.

Mathematica

  • Purchase a Mathematica license.
  • Load the mathematica environment module
  • Activate your Mathematica license using the UF license server information provided by UF Software Licensing.

Floating Network License based applications

The procedure for installing the software and a license server to enable a floating network license is similar for all applications we encountered.

  • Open a support request for the software installation.
  • Purchase a floating license from the vendor. In the process, the vendor may request additional information about the license server, which we will provide. You can communicate that information to the vendor and provide the resulting code or license file to use for setup on the license server.
  • Once the license is purchased we will perform a group-specific software installation and set up the license on the license server.
  • Users in the group will be able to load the appliction environment module. A group-specific variant of the environment module that is configured for the group-specific application install and the license server will be automatically loaded for each group with a license.
