Usage

FALCON-Unzip is used in conjunction with the following tools for full diploid genome assembly:

FALCON – the core long-read assembler FALCON-Integrate – an integration framework to run FALCON and FALCON-Unzip pipelines together FALCON-Unzip extends the capabilities of FALCON by generating phased diploid assemblies, outputting haplotype-specific contigs referred to as haplotigs.
