Federated Institution LiaisonsΒΆ
Prospective Federated sponsors are expected to work with their institutional UFIT Research Computing IT liaison / Technical Contact throughout the process of establishing their account and group on HiPerGator.
If you are a new federated sponsor requesting a HiPerGator account please select your institutional technical contact as the sponsor to validate your identity and eligibility. Once confirmed, a sponsor record and a group will be created. Users requesting new accounts in your group will then select you as their sponsor. If your institution has not established a UFIT Research Computing Liaison you will not be able to submit a HiPerGator account request as a new sponsor. In that case you must contact your local instution's IT/Research Computing or, if unsuccessful, contact UFIT Research Computing via email to start a conversation about establishing an institutional liaison.
If you are a new federated user requesting a HiPerGator account you can skip this page. Select your HiPerGator group sponsor when requesting an account. If you sponsor's name is not on the list ask them to request a sponsor level HiPerGator account and resources first per eligibility criteria.
